Privacy
Effective date: 21 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LSNet (“we”) processes personal data of myLS users (https://my.lsnet.gr) under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Greek law.
1. Data controller
Controller: LSNet
Data contact: admin@lsnet.gr
Service: https://my.lsnet.gr
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, password (hashed), city, and other profile details you provide.
- Content: posts, comments, messages, photos, videos, stories, community/page/event/map data.
- Technical data: IP address, device/browser type, access logs, cookies and similar technologies.
- Wallet data: top-ups, transfers, and payment requests (we do not store full bank card details; funding is typically via internal vouchers).
- Support correspondence: emails and related information.
3. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)
- Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): account, feed, messaging, friends, groups, pages, events, map, wallet.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): security, abuse prevention, service improvement, aggregated analytics.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): lawful authority requests and mandatory record-keeping.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): optional cookies/marketing if used — you may withdraw consent at any time.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. Sharing may occur with:
- hosting, infrastructure, and email providers as processors under contract;
- public authorities upon lawful request;
- successors in a reorganization of the service, with notice where required.
Public profile and feed content is visible to other users according to your privacy settings.
5. International transfers
Primary processing takes place in the EU/EEA. If a transfer outside the EEA is necessary, we use GDPR-appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
6. Retention
Account data is kept while the account is active. After deletion, data is removed from production systems within a reasonable period and from backups on their rotation schedule, or retained longer if required by law or disputes. Security logs are typically kept up to 12 months unless needed for an investigation.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
You may request access, rectification, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), restriction, portability, objection to legitimate-interest processing, and withdrawal of consent. Contact: admin@lsnet.gr. We respond within GDPR timelines (usually one month).
You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA), www.dpa.gr, or your local EU supervisory authority.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures (HTTPS, password hashing, access controls). Absolute security cannot be guaranteed; you must also protect your password and device.
9. Children
The service is not directed at children under 15. We do not knowingly collect their data. Such accounts will be deleted if discovered.
10. Cookies
We use necessary cookies for session and authentication. Analytics/marketing cookies are used only with consent, if enabled. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.
11. Automated decisions
We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you, other than basic security and anti-spam measures with human oversight where appropriate.
12. Policy changes
We may update this Policy. The current version is posted on this page with its date. Material changes will be notified via the service or email where practicable.
